FOUR SKINS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

FOUR SKINS collects nothing, has no server, and runs entirely on your own device. That's the whole policy — the details below just spell it out.

Data we collect

None. FOUR SKINS does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, page content, or usage analytics. There is no account, no tracking, and no server that receives your data.

Data stored on your device

The extension saves your preferences — which skin is active and per-skin options — using the browser's local storage. This never leaves your machine and is removed if you uninstall the extension.

Network requests

The only outbound network request comes from the Chienternet skin, which fetches random dog photos from the free public Dog CEO API (dog.ceo) to place on pages. These requests contain no user data, no page data, and no identifiers — just a request for a random dog image.

On-device processing

The Rigolol skin's "cap on animals" feature reads images that are already present on the page you are viewing and runs image recognition entirely on your device, using a model bundled inside the extension. No image, and nothing derived from it, is ever uploaded or sent to any external service.

Permissions, and why

No third parties

FOUR SKINS contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and does not sell or share any data — because it never collects any in the first place. All code (including the image-recognition model) is bundled in the extension; nothing is downloaded and run at runtime.
